Structural Engineer/Technologist

About the position

An opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer / Technologist to join our client's Western Cape-based office. This is an in-office position suited to a motivated junior professional seeking growth within a structural engineering consulting environment.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in structural design and detailing of various projects
• Support preparation of structural calculations and reports
• Assist with development of design drawings and documentation
• Participate in site inspections and technical assessments
• Liaise with senior engineers on project requirements and outputs
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices
• Maintain organised and accurate project records

Requirements:

• BSc or BTech in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
• 2-5 years' experience in structural engineering
• Own vehicle required
• Based in the Western Cape
