About the position
Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their Johannesburg team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer with a passion for commercial building design and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare structural designs and engineering calculations for commercial building projects
- Develop structural models and drawings using Revit and Tekla
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Attend design meetings and provide technical input throughout project delivery
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and the professional team
- Review project documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Support the successful delivery of projects within programme and quality requirements
Requirements:
- BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' structural engineering experience
- Experience in commercial building design
- Proficiency in Revit and Tekla
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
