Structural Engineer

About the position

An excellent opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer to join our client's Pretoria office. The successful candidate will be involved in structural design, analysis, and drafting across a range of building projects within a consulting engineering environment.
Responsibilities:

• Undertake structural design and analysis for various projects
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and technical reports
• Use CAD and BIM software to develop engineering solutions
• Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant design codes and standards
• Collaborate with senior engineers on project delivery
• Participate in design coordination and technical reviews
• Support project execution through all design stages

Requirements:

• BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
• 2-5 years' structural engineering design experience
• Strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles
• Proficiency in structural CAD software
• Exposure to Eurocode design standards advantageous
• Experience with Tekla Structural Designer, Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit beneficial
