Structural Draughtsman

About the position

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Draughtsman to join their Pretoria office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects while producing high-quality structural drawings and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate structural drawings in accordance with relevant codes and standards
• Prepare detailed structural layouts, sections, reinforcement detailing, and bending schedules
• Develop construction drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate project delivery
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation throughout project lifecycles

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Structural Draughtsman
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication and time management skills
