Are you an experienced Structural Steel Detailer looking for your next opportunity? Join a dynamic team where your skills in Tekla & AutoCAD will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality steel detailing projects.
Duties:
- Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings using Tekla & AutoCAD.
- Develop steel erection plans and detail individual structural steel members.
- Create shop drawings for stairs, railings, platforms, and other steel components.
- Work with engineers to develop and implement structural connections.
- Draft concise RFIs, DXF, DWG, and NC files for seamless project execution.
- Provide accurate cut lists and CNC data files to ensure smooth fabrication.
- Liaise with fabricators, workshops, architects, and engineers to resolve design challenges.
- Organize, direct, and control detailing and drafting activities across various sectors.
- Support and mentor junior and intermediate detailers in steel detailing best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Steel detailing training from a recognized college or technical school (preferred structural detailing certificate).
- Minimum 5 years in steel detailing, with progressive responsibility in planning and execution.
- Advanced skills in Tekla Structures & AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of shop and erection processes, detailing standards, and structural connections.
- Ability to consult with engineers and fabricators to troubleshoot complex connections.
