Structural BIM Modeller/Technician

About the position

An excellent opportunity exists for a Structural BIM Modeller / Technician to join our client's Pretoria office. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed structural models and drawings for reinforced concrete and steel structures within a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
• Produce reinforcement detailing for concrete structures
• Create accurate steelwork fabrication and structural drawings
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure design intent is accurately modelled
• Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation control
• Support project delivery through accurate technical outputs
• Assist in resolving design and modelling queries

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in structural drafting/BIM modelling
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing
• Solid reinforcement detailing capability required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Advantageous:

• Experience with CadsRC
• Exposure to engineering consulting environments
