About the position
We are seeking a commercially astute and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making and enhance operational performance across the organisation. The successful candidate will be analytical, highly organised, and experienced in business performance tracking, stakeholder engagement, and translating complex data into actionable insights.
This role is ideal for professionals with operations or management experience who want to leverage their business acumen to influence strategy, streamline processes, and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational, financial, and sales data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to support business planning, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reports to monitor team and organisational performance
- Assist with process mapping, conduct gap analyses, and recommend improvements
- Perform root cause analysis on performance challenges and propose practical solutions
- Translate complex data sets into clear reports, visualisations, and strategic presentations
- Work cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Support budgeting, costing models, and resource planning efforts
- Utilise internal and external systems (e.g., CRM, BI tools, ERP) to extract and analyse relevant data
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, audits, and change management projects as required
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline
- 4 to 6 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards) and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Ability to work with raw data and translate findings into meaningful business insights
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis principles
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP software, and reporting automation tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Desirable Competencies
- Experience within BPO, financial services, logistics, technology, or compliance-driven industries
- Proven track record working alongside senior leadership, COOs, or Managing Directors
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying and reporting tools
- Experience leading or supporting change management and process optimisation initiatives
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
