Support the Head of Department and Fund Management team by providing expert guidance on sourcing strategies for healthcare products, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and value.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Pharmacist or Medical Doctor; business qualification advantageous.
- Experience: 5+ years in managed healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or appliance industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze current sourcing plans to enhance customer satisfaction and implement new product initiatives.
- Cost Efficiency: Develop cost-effective processes and conduct data analysis for strategic sourcing.
- Customer-Centricity: Foster relationships with service providers and internal teams to optimize service delivery.
- Knowledge Management: Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, sharing insights with the team.
- Project Support: Offer expertise on sourcing projects, represent the department in committees, and engage with industry stakeholders.
Position Outputs:
- Conduct data analysis on medical devices and manage health risk initiatives.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, monitor costs, and handle scheme queries.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate sourcing insights.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the supply chain for medicines and devices.
- Skills in customer relationship building, creativity, effective decision-making, and communication.
