We are looking for a responsible and experienced Stores Supervisor to oversee daily store operations in Durban. The successful candidate will supervise staff, maintain stock control, ensure excellent customer service, and support the overall performance of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, manage staff, assist with scheduling, and train new employees.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, manage replenishment, and ensure accurate cash-ups and banking procedures.
- Maintain customer service, store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and compliance with company policies while supporting sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Retail experience, preferably in a supermarket, food, spice, or FMCG environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
- Strong cash-handling skills and knowledge of POS systems.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and retail systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Clear criminal record.
- Physically fit and able to assist with stock handling when required.
