About the position

• Accurate and safe offloading of stock from suppliers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Accurate and safe storage of stock in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Work in progress physical material issues.
• Picking of local and export consignments including preparation and packing for dispatch.
• Accurate and safe loading of finished goods for dispatch in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• The physical movement of stock and work in progress as required.
• Maintenance of warehouses, including accuracy of bin locations and warehouses.
• Export preparation including determination of weights and dimensions of consignments, as well as dimensions for the ordering of wooden boxes.
• Adherence to all health and safety policies of the company.
• Assisting in daily cycle and periodic stock counts as required by the company.
• The safe operation of forklifts according to company policies and procedures.
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings as required.
• Keeping the work environment clean, safe, and secure in accordance with the principles of 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardise, sustain).
