About the position
Position reports to Snr Management, Applicants must be experienced and have the necessary skills to execute the duties to fulfill this position. Primary duties are: Essential requirements: if Interested in this position please send CV asap.
Receive and issue stock /materials and equipment as ordered by project managers,
Maintain stock levels, complete stock take and prepare stock /inventory reports,
Highlight any issues with shortages to Line Manager,
Keep Project managers informed of delays in equipment/materials ordered.
Take fuill responsibility for stock control
Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed on time and properly invoiced.
Follow company stock management and control procedures dilligently.
5 yrs hands on experience in managing stock as a storekeeper in an engineering or electrical or manufacturing company
Grade 12/matric essential, preference for a stores management or warehouse management qualification.
SAGE300 - inventory management systems experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of electrical materials and components,
valid motor vehicle drivers license - must be prepared to collect or deliver equipment and materials in emergency situations.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
