Job Title: Store Supervisor

Job Summary: The Store supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. This role involves managing staff, optimizing sales, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

• Recruit, interview, hire, and train store employees.
• Schedule and assign tasks to employees.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide ongoing training and development.
• Address disciplinary issues and manage employee relations.

Sales and Customer Service:

• Set sales targets and monitor performance.
• Develop and implement sales strategies.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Handle customer complaints and queries.

Inventory and Merchandising:

• Manage inventory levels and order new stock as needed.
• Oversee merchandising and ensure the store is visually appealing.
• Implement loss prevention measures.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage the store's budget.
• Monitor financial performance and analyze variances.
• Implement corrective actions to achieve financial goals.

Operational Management:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Oversee store maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Store Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management and sales software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
