About the position
Are you passionate about retail and looking to step up into a management role? Our client, a leading retailer, is searching for a dynamic Store Manager to oversee a flagship store in Tygervalley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate sales staff to achieve sales and profit targets
- Maintain high customer service and operational standards
- Manage scheduling, training, and staff development
- Oversee stock control, merchandising, and store presentation
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly, including financial management, cash-ups, and reporting
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
- Drive recruitment and staff performance appraisals
Requirements:
- Matric (Essential); tertiary qualification in retail management or commerce (advantageous)
- Proven retail or customer service experience
- Track record of meeting sales targets (management experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Confident, professional and customer-focused
- Flair for fashion and energetic approach
