About the Role:
A leading national retail group is seeking an experienced and hands-on Store Manager to oversee all operational, financial, and HR aspects of a busy retail branch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management, stock control, cash handling, and staff leadership in a large-format retail or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall store operations to achieve profitability and sales targets.
- Oversee store administration, cash office, and point-of-sale operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and retail standards.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the store team to maximise productivity and development.
- Plan, implement, and monitor stock control, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate promotions, merchandising, and customer service initiatives.
- Analyse financial and operational reports to drive business improvements.
- Manage HR processes including scheduling, leave, and performance management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Diploma, BCom, or Retail Management qualification (advantageous).
- 5+ years’ experience in retail store management.
- Experience with SAP, UNISOLV, Qlikview, or Kronos (advantageous).
- Strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Location Preference:
Candidates residing in or near Johannesburg suburbs such as Sandton, Parkmore, Norwood, Killarney, Boskruin, and surrounding areas will be preferred.
