FASHION AND BEAUTY DEPARTMENT MANAGER
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirement: Grade 12
Retail and or Business Management Diploma would be advantages and or Post Matric Qualification, (proof on submission)
2- 5 years role experience as a Retail Manager
3 - 5 years minimum
Team Management of staff
Leadership and Management experience
Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements.
Group Head experience 3 - 5 years minimum
Driver's license and own car highly advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clothing store, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
- Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing according to brand standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries to ensure adequate inventory.
Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive sales and meet/exceed store targets and KPIs.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries or complaints professionally.
- Analyze sales reports and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Promote new products, in-store promotions, and loyalty programs to increase customer engagement and sales.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage attendance and leave.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.
Merchandising & Visual Standards:
- Ensure that product displays, merchandising, and signage are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor product rotation and pricing accuracy to maintain inventory control and minimize losses.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Manage cash handling, banking, and daily reconciliations accurately.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and labor legislation.
