About the position
Reporting to the Floor Planning Manager, the two Store Designers will be responsible for optimising retail store layouts to enhance space productivity, customer experience, and financial performance.
The incumbents will review and adjust store spaces based on customer shopping patterns, category strategies, and financial benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise store layouts for functionality, aesthetics, and brand alignment
- Maximise sales, profit, and customer satisfaction through effective spatial planning
- Analyse and adjust store flows and adjacencies based on shopper psychology
- Set and apply benchmarks for trading density, stock density, and profitability metrics
- Ensure store design reflects the company's brand identity
- Collaborate with the Floor Planning Manager and other stakeholders
- Oversee project execution, coordinating with contractors and vendors
Requirements:
- 3+ years in store design, retail merchandising, or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
- Knowledge of retail products, fixtures, and furnishings
- Ability to deliver quality designs within time and budget constraints
- Commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance
