About the position
Our client, a leading national retail group, is seeking experienced Store Admin Managers to oversee the financial and administrative operations of high-volume retail branches across the South Coast, Galleria, North Coast, and Durban regions
This opportunity is ideal for commercially minded professionals who thrive in a structured, fast-paced retail environment and have a strong understanding of stock control, cash management, reporting, compliance, and operational processes. Successful candidates will take ownership of one key branch and lead a team of 10-15 staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store administration, reporting, audits, and compliance
- Oversee cash office operations, banking, floats, and reconciliations
- Monitor stock, goods receiving, credits, returns, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure transaction integrity and accurate capturing on SAP
- Support budgeting, cost control, and profitability tracking
- Lead cashier and admin teams, including workforce management processes
- Investigate discrepancies and maintain strong internal controls
- Support customer service excellence and audit readiness
Minimum Requirements:
- South African Citizen with Matric
- 3-5 years Admin Manager experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Clear criminal and credit record (MIE check required)
- Minimum 18 months' experience in a retail admin leadership role
- Strong numerical, analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience within a large retail environment is essential
- Flexibility to work retail hours and travel when required
Advantageous:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Retail Management
- Experience with SAP, Unisolv, SuccessFactors, or similar systems
