Stock Reporting Administrator
Are you highly organised, analytical and confident working with Excel? We are looking for a Stock Reporting Administrator to play a key role in supporting accurate stock reporting, auditing and reconciliation across a retail environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, retail/store experience and exceptional attention to detail who enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring reporting is accurate and up to date.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
· Collect and consolidate weekly stock-related information and supporting documentation from retail stores.
· Review submitted reports to ensure data is accurate, complete and consistent.
· Compile, format and distribute weekly stock audit and reporting packs.
· Follow up with stores regarding missing, incomplete or inconsistent information.
· Analyse stock data to identify variances, irregularities and trends requiring further investigation.
· Capture physical stocktake information and assist with stock reconciliation.
· Maintain accurate, organised and secure electronic and/or physical filing systems.
· Provide administrative support during routine and ad-hoc stock audits.
· Assist finance, audit and related teams with reporting and administrative requirements.
· Ensure all information is handled confidentially and in accordance with internal controls and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
· Grade 12 / Matric – essential.
· Previous experience within a retail or store environment – essential.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
o Formulas
o Pivot Tables
o VLOOKUP
· Strong numerical and analytical ability.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Advantageous
· Relevant tertiary qualification.
· Previous experience in stock administration, stock control, auditing, reporting or reconciliation.
· Experience working with large volumes of data and recurring weekly reporting.
