Stock Controller (Fixed Term Contract)

Our client in the FMCG import/export industry is seeking a Stock Controller to join their team on a contract basis.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving of new stock and allocate stacking
• Ensure consignment stock is correctly picked, prepared and ready for collections/loading
• Accurate printing and controlling of GRV and GIV books
• Ensure correct stock is dispatched according to loading documentation
• Stock takes
• Provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing customer and/or queries.
• Check incoming and outgoing loads

 

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / grade 12 certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience in stock control and warehouse activities
• Computer literate on word, excel and outlook
• Must be proficient in all administration duties example
• HACCP qualification will be highly beneficial
• Valid forklift license will be highly beneficial
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Successful candidate must be friendly, helpful and presentable
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be able to work overtime and stand by over weekends when requested to come in.
• Speak English and Afrikaans
• Must be able to work in our cold environment (picking of stock will be in done inside freezer rooms)
