About the position
Are you someone who notices when the numbers don't add up?
Do you enjoy investigating stock variances, finding the root cause of problems and making sure what's physically sitting in the warehouse matches what's showing on the system?
We're looking for a Stock Controller to join a fast-paced FMCG environment and take ownership of stock accuracy, cycle counting, reporting and variance investigation.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is analytical, organized, detail-driven and confident working with both people and data.
RequirementsDesired Experience & Qualification
- Suitable Tertiary Qualification is a requirement.
- Good problem solving and excellent communications skills.
- Computer literate - MS Office & MS Excel
- 2-3 years stock control experience is beneficial.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Stock control and inventory management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP / stock management systems
- Cycle counting and stock-taking
- Stock reconciliation and variance analysis
- Root-cause analysis and corrective action
- Experience with SOX controls and compliance
- W2W (Warehouse-to-Warehouse) process experience
- Experience with ECR / Change Management processes
- Stock adjustment processing
- Inventory reporting and dashboard management
- Experience analyzing stock value and accuracy
- Knowledge of material shortages and inventory risk management
- Report writing and management reporting
- Data analysis and identifying trends/patterns
- Experience working with warehouse, production and supply chain teams
- Continuous improvement / process optimization
- Strong understanding of inventory accuracy and control procedures
