About the position
The People & Compliance Administrator ensures compliance, accurate record-keeping, and efficient reporting across payroll, finance, and site operations. The role manages compliance uploads, supports payroll with deductions and terminations, oversees site administration tasks, and coordinates PPE orders and stock. Acting as a link between site operations and finance, this position provides accurate weekly reports to managers, ensuring compliance obligations are met and freeing management to focus on strategic oversight. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 1.Compliance & Documentation Measure: Weekly compliance reports checked against deadlines. 2.Payroll Support Measure: Accuracy of reports. 3.HR & Site Administration Measure: Number of errors or missing documentation. 4.PPE & Inventory Management Measure: Weekly/monthly audits of stock and issue reports. 5.Reporting & Communication Measure: Feedback from managers and monthly issue tracking. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Target: No missed or late uploads per week/month.
Target: Errors <2% per month; 100% accuracy in payroll-related submissions.
Target: Fewer than 2 errors per month.
Target: 100% of orders processed; discrepancies reported within 2 days.
Target: All issues reported within 48 hours of identification.
Desired Skills:

- - Proficiency in PaySpace and good working knowledge of Excel (Xero/Netcash advantageous).

- - High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive staff and payroll information.
- - Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
- - Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments (Payroll Finance Operations).
