About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Reporting and Risk Admin Support professional to ensure accurate stock records across stores through audits, variance investigations, and reporting. This role plays a key part in reducing stock losses, supporting effective stock control, and working closely with Operations and Audit Management. Ideal for someone with retail stock count experience, strong administrative skills, and a proactive, deadline-driven approach.
Requirements
Role and responsibilities:
• Travel to stores/sites, with an estimated on-site period of approximately 2 weeks per month.
• Ensure stock counts are completed in stores as requested by the HOD, within the specified timeframes.
• Accurately capture stock during counts, performing audit checks for verification.
• Conduct investigations using hanger counts as a reference during stock audits.
• Investigate variances and ensure all necessary adjustments are made during the count.
• Inform the Operations and Audit Manager of variances and obtain sign-off from all relevant parties; request feedback on controls when required.
• Perform supervised stock counts in stores as requested by the HOD.
• Prepare and manage administrative reporting related to stock audits.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of stock take equipment.
Experience and requirements:
• Matric
• Finance degree or diploma a big advantage
• Valid Driver License and own reliable vehicle
• Stock count experience (essential)
• Worked in a retail environment (essential)
• Knowledge of MS Office
