Stock and Fleet Specialist

About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the stock and fleet of the company, ensuring that all inventory is properly stocked and accounted for, and that the fleet is well-maintained and able to meet the needs of the business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.

• Stocking and organizing inventory in accordance with established procedures.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for replenishment as needed.
• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and other relevant information.
• Analysing stock data and generating reports for management review.
• Assist in the development and updating of stock and fleet management policies and procedures.
• Managing the company fleet, including coordinating repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Developing and implementing strategies to optimize stock and fleet management processes.
• Collaborating with internal teams to anticipate stock and fleet needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Train and mentor team members on stock and fleet management processes

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of proven experience in stock management and/or fleet management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices for fleet management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
