Job Title: Stock and Creditor Supervisor

Location: Midrand

Salary: R25K to R35K negotiable depending on qualification and experience

The Opportunity

This position controls business assets to protect company profit margins. You will manage cash flow using supplier ledgers and inventory. Your work requires five years of creditor accounting book experience. You will track warehouse items using the Sage Pastel software. The role requires an understanding of double entry accounting principles. You will identify ledger variances to execute the journal corrections. This role reports to the finance manager regarding corporate governance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reconcile creditor statements against Pastel ledger balances with zero variance.
• Perform stock counts and reconcile figures to the Pastel Inventory.
• Investigate and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and product pricing issues.
• Process supplier invoices and goods received notes on Pastel Partner.
• Prepare weekly and monthly creditors age analysis for management review.

Must Haves!

• Possess certified experience and proficiency in Pastel Accounting software applications including creditors and stock.

Required Experience

• Five years’ experience managing stock and creditors.
• Manage warehouse inventory items using the Sage Pastel software systems.
• Use Microsoft Excel software for data lookups and data analysis.
• Apply your knowledge of double entry accounting principles and taxes.
• Identify ledger variances and execute journal corrections without accounting errors.
