About the position

Minimum requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) in Electrical/Mechanical/Millwright + Trade Test.
  • BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (advantageous).
  • 2-4 years' experience in a sterile pharmaceutical production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure compliance of utility systems (purified water, clean steam, AHUs, chilled water, compressed air, etc.).
  • Drive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across sterile production equipment, cleanrooms, and packaging facilities.
  • Manage specialist contractors and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in validation, deviation management, CAPA, change control, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Engineering Practice (GEP) and cGMP standards.
