About the position

Our client based in Germiston is seeking a Specifier to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible to Deliver sales revenue based on regional sales target and personal sales target.
SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION: 

• Deliver sales revenue based on regional sales target and personal sales target.
• Accountable for own, creation of new, and maintenance of existing area customer relationships. 
• Support the sales team with both existing and potential client business in the specification of products and the design of interior layouts
• Assist with product presentations to potential clients, architects, engineers and applicators
• Assist with the preparation of costings and presentation of tender documents
• Form a close relationship with the architect, engineering and design community.
• Where appropriate, improve the effectiveness of the customer by providing product training
• Maintain and support architects, designers, dealer principals and staff
• Meet and discuss key value propositions with all stakeholders in the construction industry
• Develop new client leads and contacts to ensure effective penetration
• Penetrate new clients to assist the sales teams to meet the company revenue target
• Ensure closure target is met of specifications to product orders: 
• Ensure forecast accuracy target is met by timeously and accurately supplying project information. 
• Manage the project register by continuously updating and holding monthly team meetings. 
• Manage lead provider and distribute leads to relevant staff. 
• Assist in the conducting, arrangement of and completion of CPD training interventions with industry stakeholders
• Adherence to company reporting procedure/commercial admin systems, offering appropriate feedback and information when required or requested. 
• Accountable for maintenance of personal trade spend within the assigned sales region.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary Qualification NQF level 6 or higher
• Experience in excess of 5 years in the related field.

• Ability to communicate and operate at all Levels.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Computer literacy, with good spreadsheet, Power Point presentation and ERP system knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and public speaking skills
