About the position
An opportunity exists for a highly skilled Specialist: Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The role involves leading technical projects, mentoring junior developers, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring software solutions meet performance, reliability, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET and Visual [URL Removed]
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and reports
- Develop and improve complex software applications with scalable architectures
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party developers to deliver projects on time
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases; implement new product features and enhancements
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into high-performance technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and integration issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Document technical implementations and changes
- Apply best practices in database development and administration
- Provide application support to business users where required
- Rapidly learn and adapt to new applications and technologies
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field
- 8+ years of software development experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#.NET, and SQL
- Strong experience in SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies
- Experience with web services and REST API development and integration
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to plan and execute work independently and in a team environment
- Stakeholder engagement experience, including C-level interaction
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven
