About the position
Contribute to development of strategic frameworks and policies that drive compliance with all legal, governance, policies, procedures, standards and aviation requirements for Aviation Safety & ARFF with the purpose to meet business and operation management standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Aviation Safety & ARFF standards, policies and procedures
- Develop strategies, frameworks and policies for managing Aviation Safety & ARFF impacts arising from local airport activities and operations
- Develop new and enhanced standards and guidelines
- Disseminate across the organisation
- Interpret standards into ACSA policies and procedures
- Contribute to defining the standards for reporting of safety incidents and automate as far as possible
- Contribute to defining the standards for regulatory compliance for example SMS systems and documentation
- Monitor stakeholder adherence and commitment to all safety and ARFF policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
- Support the facilitation of safety and ARFF committees and forums as well as participating in
- Civil Aviation Regulations Committees and other non-mandatory committees
- Monitor departments on workplace hazard & risk reduction programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree Aviation Safety and/or Fire
- 5 - 7 years
