Postion Summary:
The National Research Foundation (NRF) seeks to make an appointment for the position of Specialist: Alumni Relations whose key responsibilities will include
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of an integrated alumni strategy
- Manage a portfolio of engagement programmes including professional development webinars, networking events, and mentorship programmes
- Create and implement strategies and special interest groups
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness using key performance indicators
- Develop and manage content for alumni communications channels (newsletters, social media, website)
- Curate and share alumni success stories and achievements
- Maintain the alumni database, ensuring data integrity and segmentation for targeted communications
- Facilitate online and offline communities to encourage peer to peer networking
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for alumni involvement
- Develop value propositions and benefits for different alumni segments
- Create pathways for alumni to contribute as mentors, speakers, and ambassadors
Minimum Qualification:
- Honours Degree / Post Graduate Qualification / Professional Qualification / NQF 8
Minimum Experience:
- Honors degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or related field (Masters will be an added advantage)5 years' experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or relationship managementExperience in programme development and event managementProficiency with alumni systems and database managementDemonstrated success in developing and implementing engagement strategies
Experience:

Knowledge:
