Solution Engineer at Reverside

About the position

Reverside is an IT services provider; we are always looking for professional candidates to join our team in Software Development, providing opportunities to work on exciting projects, within our well-established client base. We are looking for a solution engineer with 5+ years' experience. In this senior role, you will play a crucial part in developing business applications and APIs, managing data and ETL workflows, and designing automation processes. You will also will be responsible for maintaining and creating solution capabilities within the Compliance Agile Release Teams (ART). This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic IT and fintech environment while contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our systems.

Duties:

• Developing and maintaining server-side components.
• Designing and implementing data storage solutions to ensure scalability and performance.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Implementing automation technologies and tools for continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) processes.
• Designing and implementing monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Support alignment by collaborating with Solution Architects, Agile Teams, and Operations to ensure that discrete solutions fit into the larger architecture, meet availability SLAs, and align with high-level objectives and release strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years+ technical experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend and front-end development languages.
• Experience with server-side frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Experience working with vendors and COTS products.
• Experience in ETL technologies Service Management and knowledge of ITIL.
• Strong business acumen and leadership.
• Knowledge in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
• Domain experience in financial services and financial technologies advantageous.
