You're an on-site expert in utility-scale solar projects, ensuring seamless execution from installation to commissioning. You thrive in dynamic environments where problem-solving and quick decision-making are crucial. You'll be at the heart of large-scale solar projects (20MW+), overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of utility-scale solar plants. Ensuring compliance with South African electrical and mechanical regulations, you'll manage subcontractors, coordinate project schedules, and maintain strict quality and safety standards. You'll also work closely with design teams to ensure accurate implementation while troubleshooting technical issues on-site. Your role will involve preparing reports and maintaining project documentation to support successful execution.

You'll need a B.Eng (Electrical or Mechanical) degree. With 5+ years of site execution experience, you have worked on large-scale solar projects and are familiar with substations and transmission lines. A strong understanding of contractor and utility requirements will be essential, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders on-site.
