About the position

Duties:

• Operational support – Functional consulting – Maintenance Support - Development


• Monitoring


• Rollout/go-live preparations.


• Analysis of issues arising from an operational, functional, and maintenance point of view


• Development of scripts and amendment of packages which includes Python, bash, config files all formats.


• Database copies


• Working on user stories


• Curating user access and permissions concerning all environments.


• Interfacing with other teams concerning all aspects of WSS.


• Proper documentation concerning Testing using X-Ray.


• Capability to improve on current processes where required.


• Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and System Integration security tests.


• Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end users.


• Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem, Incident & Change Management)


• Perform daily operations tasks and end-user support.


• Creation of pertinent test documentation


• Enable end-user knowledge transfer and training.


• Work closely with other functional consultants, developers, product owners, and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Relevant IT / IT Degrees or Certifications


• 3 - 5 years’ experience

 



Essential skills:

• Technical understanding to assist with problem resolution.


• Understanding of operations processes


• Informatics understanding to resolve problems related to data flow between various systems & middleware.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail


• Linux


• Cloud Technology (Azure)


• DB (Oracle or MS SQL)


• Some development (Python & shell scripting & little bit of pearl)


• Networking Concepts - NAS - Mounts - AD groups


• Winscp - SFTP - SSH - security protocols (Cert's - key generations - LDAP) – GIT (bitbucket) (GITHUB)


• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
