We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade integration and data solutions that power critical business services.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop robust, scalable, reusable, and supportable enterprise solutions.
- Build and maintain Ab Initio ETL and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain enterprise integration services using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Design, publish, secure, and support APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC).
- Develop automation tools and orchestration utilities using Python.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, software deployments, and release processes.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation aligned with engineering standards.
- Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, DevOps Engineers, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Participate in a rotational standby support roster (Monday–Sunday).
RequirementsMinimum Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
