About our client:
Our client is a highly successful SAAS development company focused on delivering innovative, bespoke solutions across a wide range of industries including logistics, supply chain and manufacturing. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, they specialise in application development from scratch, continuous improvement, API's and reporting.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior developers, to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such as C#, Python, or Rust.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle - from gathering requirements and system design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Conduct or participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Contribute to the design and integration of APIs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
- 1 - 3 years experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge / understanding of at least one of the following languages: C#, Python, React, Angular and/ or Rust.
- Understanding of API design and consumption.
- Exposure to or experience using version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and adapt to new tools or challenges.
- Familiarity with or experience working in an Agile environment.
