Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide application support, including answering, resolving, and logging customer issues, and suggesting long-term solutions.
- Investigate and analyse system issues to determine causes and corrective actions.
- Design, develop, and deliver system enhancements within budget, timelines, and specifications, adhering to quality and industry standards.
- Offer system knowledge and consultancy for divisional and cross-divisional projects, ensuring business process requirements and best practices are met.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement of systems and support processes.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system support information.
- Maintain data quality and integrity.
- Provide clear, professional communication to colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Perform system maintenance tasks according to agreed schedules.
RequirementsWhat You Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years’ application support experience, including production systems.
- Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, triggers, jobs); JIRA Service Management experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
- Experience with database systems, reporting, and queries; financial markets knowledge is a plus.
- Eligible to work in South Africa.
