About the position
Our client is looking for a motivated Software and Systems Production Line Engineer to join a collaborative technology team developing software solutions for the financial sector. This role is well suited to an Industrial Engineering graduate with a passion for software, systems optimisation and continuous improvement who is eager to grow their technical career.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production line documentation.
- Optimise input and output data production workflows.
- Monitor, maintain and improve production line stability and performance.
- Support and contribute to the software development lifecycle.
- Implement process automation where appropriate.
- Analyse system performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot production, software and data-related issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (4-year qualification).
- 1-3 years' relevant industry experience.
- Experience using documentation tools such as GitHub and Adobe Acrobat.
- Exposure to at least one scripting or application programming language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, Lua or similar.
- Experience working with C++ or other compiled programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead or coordinate a small team.
Advantageous
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Interest in software and systems engineering.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
