About the position

DBN000120– SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT – DURBAN NORTH

Purpose of the job:
To develop, execute and monetise the company social media strategy across various platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Design or Marketing Qualification
  • At least 3 years social media and marketing experience
  • Experience in design and editing software

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • Creating Content and curations
  • Engaging with followers by responding to message comments and queries promptly
  • Planning and execution of social media campaigns
  • Creating and publishing content
  • Trend monitoring
  • Ensuring all social media content aligns with the company’s brand identity and voice across platforms
  • Copy writing
  • Creation and implementation of marketing calendar
  • Photo shoots for online content and ecommerce store
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager where necessary
