Our client is looking to employ a Social Media & Digital Content Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage our presence on Facebook and other social media platforms i.e LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms
- Creating and scheduling engaging content including copy, graphics, photos, and short videos
- Supporting event promotion
- Writing marketing copy
- Maintaining online training platform
- Collaborate with global teams
- Use tools like Canva, Adobe Suite/ basic video editing platforms to help create marketing visuals and video snippets
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12 is essential
- 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, digital content creation, or marketing communications
- Strong proficiency in excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience working with LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and content scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, or native platform scheduling)
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., trimming, subtitles, transitions)
- Technology / Transportation / infrastructure industries is advantageous
