About the position

Shape trusted data for a leading institution's financial system. Our client is seeking a senior specialist to establish reliable master and reference data for a major Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud Solution project. Your work will create a trusted source of critical business information that supports sound decisions and effective operations.

Key performance areas

• Data requirements and business rules: Define and document master and reference data requirements, rules, measurements and metrics.
• Data structures: Design and manage relationships and hierarchies that provide integrated views of business entities.
• Standards and matching: Implement data standards and rules for matching and merging records to create a single version of the truth.
• Metadata management: Develop data taxonomies, catalogues and dictionaries, and maintain the associated metadata.
• Data repositories: Build and maintain master and reference data repositories across organisational data domains.
• Data quality: Monitor quality metrics, investigate non-conformance, coordinate remediation and report on progress.
• Governance: Implement controls, frameworks and procedures to support consistent management of critical data.
• Stakeholder engagement: Work with business and technical teams to embed master and reference data practices across the organisation.

Requirements

• A minimum of a completed degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years' of proven experience in data management within a large, complex data environment.
