About the position
We are looking for a skills development coordinator who will be responsible for the full end-to-end administration, coordination, and implementation of all learning and development initiatives. This is a hands-on operational role requiring direct execution of training administration, SETA processes, learnership management, reporting, and compliance activities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement annual and operational training plans aligned to business needs, WSP/ATR objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee training delivery, quality assurance, and performance measurement.
- Design and implement accredited and non-accredited training programmes in line with organisational and SETA
- Manage end-to-end training administration, including scheduling, provider coordination, learner communication, documentation, attendance tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate training records across LMS, SharePoint, and compliance files.
- Compile and submit WSP and ATR reports.
- Ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act and relevant SETA requirements (e.g., TETA).
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support SETA verification processes.
- Manage Mandatory and Discretionary Grant applications, implementation tracking, and reporting to maximise grant recovery.
- Coordinate and administer learnerships, internships, and other structured learning programmes, ensuring full contractualand regulatory compliance.
- Provide accurate Skills Development reporting for BBBEE verification and maintain supporting documentation.

- Support training budget tracking, grant spend reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in Learning & Development, HR, or related field
- SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) qualification
- Train-the-Trainer qualification (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in Learning & Development coordination
- Proven experience with SETA processes, WSP/ATR submissions, grant management, and accredited training administration
- Experience in learnership coordination and BBBEE Skills Development reporting
- High attention to detail with a compliance-driven approach
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
