Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements:

• Diesel Mechanic Trade qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years' post-trade experience working with diesel engines and heavy vehicles or equipment
• Strong knowledge of fault diagnosis and repair procedures
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software
• A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• Valid driver’s license 

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and air systems
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections on trucks, heavy vehicles, and machinery
• Carry out component overhauls, rebuilds, and system upgrades as required
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Support apprentices and assist in mentoring junior staff when necessary
