About the position

As the Six Sigma Black Belt & BPM Lead, you will be a key driver of strategic process improvement across the organization. You'll lead complex, cross-functional projects using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for maturing the company’s Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities, ensuring their processes are well-documented, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Six Sigma Green Belts and project teams in the successful execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced statistical analysis and process mapping tools to identify root causes and quantify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's BPM framework, including process documentation, governance, and a process repository.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to identify and prioritize high-impact projects.
  • Train and coach employees on Six Sigma principles, lean methodologies, and BPM best practices.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring sustained gains are achieved and embedded into business operations.

 
Qualifications

  • Certification: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from a recognized institution (ASQ, etc.) is required

 
Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in a dedicated Six Sigma Black Belt role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multiple complex improvement projects from conception to completion.
  • Proven experience in Business Process Management (BPM), including process mapping and workflow automation.

 
Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in statistical software (Minitab, SPSS, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
