ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Background
- Minimum 5-7 years of construction site management experience
- Must have previous experience with a property development company
- Proven track record in residential/commercial development projects
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Valid Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) registration (Grade 7-9 preferred)
- Health and Safety certification (Construction Regulations for Occupational Health and Safety)
- Valid driver's license (Code 8/10 preferred)
Technical Skills
- Proficient in construction project management software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of cost control and budget management principles

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
- Oversee daily construction operations and coordinate all on-site activities
- Ensure project milestones are met within specified timeframes and budget constraints
- Monitor and control project costs, materials, and resource allocation
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Team Leadership
- Supervise and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Conduct regular site meetings and briefings
- Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders
- Resolve conflicts and manage team performance
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all construction work meets specified quality standards and building codes
- Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective measures
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability requirements
- Manage documentation and record-keeping for regulatory compliance
Health & Safety
- Implement and maintain comprehensive health and safety protocols
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments

About The Employer:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage constructionoperations for a current development project based in Limpopo. The successful candidate will beresponsible for ensuring project delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters while maintainingthe highest standards of health and safety compliance.
This is a residential position requiring the candidate to stay on-site for the duration of the project.
