About the position

North Coast - Our client specializes in the installation of custom-made timber doors and windows, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman to supervise and manage contractors. 
Operating within the high-end residential and commercial build environment, they combine traditional joinery methods with modern detailing and precision finishing.
The Site Foreman will be responsible for managing multiple job sites, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that installations and construction work are carried out to the highest standards. This role requires close supervision of contractors and coordination with internal teams to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate should be structured, methodical, and able to drive progress on-site with precision and discipline. A solid background in construction is essential.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily activities on multiple construction and installation sites
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed to required standards
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding scheduling, deliveries, and installation progress
• Conduct quality checks on-site and address any issues or discrepancies
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
• Track site progress and report updates to management
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly managed and maintained
• Assist in site measurements and final fitment inspections
• Resolve on-site technical or personnel issues
• Liaise with clients and project managers when required
• Maintain a clean and orderly worksite environment
• Plan and allocate tasks to ensure daily productivity targets are achieved
• Handle site documentation and daily logs
• Ensure installation standards are aligned with company quality expectations

Requirements

• Matric
• Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar foreman or site management role
• Background in construction or installation required
• Valid driver’s license essential
• Proven experience in managing contractors and site logistics
• Strong technical understanding of construction processes and materials

 
Remuneration
R20 000 - R23 000 per month, depending on experience, plus company vehicle
