About the position

Our client, a national multi-disciplinary construction company specialising in medium to mega scale projects, seeks to employ a qualified, experienced and organized Site Engineer, with a strong background of managing MEP/Civils construction site projects and an ECSA registration, to join this progressive and expanding professional team.




Please note that the role is based in Cape Town, however the projects are national and the requirement to be able to travel is essential.


KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:  

    • You will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 5 years experience in QA/QC, on medium to mega construction sites and a ECSA registration


    • You will have a proven track record in pre-construction planning, estimations, scope reviews and inspection plans, as well as coordinating and taking responsibility for all site permits.


    • You will have experience in monitoring MEP site activities, to ensure compliance, as well as conduct inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure HSE and QA/QC specifications are met and risk mitigated, as well as coordinate with subcontractors and maintain data books and reports


    • Knowledge of ISO [Phone Number Removed]; is highly advantageous


    • Sound experience in HSE, quality and risk management is critical


    • You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
