Site Agent/Construction Manager - Wellington, WC

About the position

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable civil construction company specializing in infrastructure development projects, is currently seeking two experienced Construction Managers / Site Agents to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.?

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.?
  
  
• Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.?
  
  
• Implement and enforce compliance with construction methods as per SANS 1200/GCC standards.?
  
  
• Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project) to plan, monitor, and report on project progress.?
  
  
• Lead and mentor site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.?
  
  
• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.?
  
  
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed on-site.?
  
  

Requirements:

• BEng, BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.?
  
  
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management on civil projects.?
  
  
• ECSA or SACPCMP registration is preferred.?
  
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software, particularly MS Project.?
  
  
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifically SANS 1200/GCC standards.?
  
  
• Proven experience managing civil construction projects, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.?
  
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with fluency in English and Afrikaans.?
  
  
• Valid driver's license.?
