About the position

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant responsible for promoting and selling products in accordance with company standards and procedures while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will maintain the showroom’s visual presentation, oversee daily operations, process sales transactions, manage stock control, and assist with branding and promotional campaigns to achieve sales targets. The role requires experience within a retail or showroom environment, preferably with exposure to interior décor and design.
Main Purpose of the job:

  • Promotes and sells products to customers according to standards and procedure
  • Maintains the image and oversees the effective operations of the showroom in order to meet the sales targets


Working Environment:


  • Based in the showroom
  • Required to work every second Saturday
  • Required to work a minimum of 2 days per month 


Financial Scope:

  • Requires honesty in the handling of cash or finances / No financial scope


Min educational requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field is advantages


Other requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in English and one other SA language (area dependent)


Min work experience:

  • 3 years sales experience in a showroom environment
  • Exposure to an interior decor / design environment is an advantage
  • Experience in a retail environment, coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
