About the position

We are seeking an experienced and driven Short-Term Insurance Administrator to join our office and play a key role in the continued growth and development of our personal and commercial short-term insurance portfolio across Gauteng and the broader Southern African region.

This position is suited to a proactive individual with a strong understanding of short-term insurance products and administrative processes, who is able to manage both operational responsibilities and growth-focused initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting new business development, servicing existing clients, and ensuring efficient policy administration across multiple insurers.

You will work closely with advisors, insurers, and clients to deliver accurate quotations, policy amendments, renewals, and claims support, while identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen our short-term insurance footprint. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

This role requires someone who is entrepreneurial minded, solutions-driven, and capable of working independently while contributing meaningfully to the strategic growth of the business as a whole within Gauteng and across Southern Africa.

Minimum Requirements

RE1 qualification (essential)

All applicable Short-Term Insurance Class of Business (essential)

Minimum of 2 years' experience in the short-term insurance industry

Proven experience across the entire short-term insurance lifecycle, including:

Quoting (personal and commercial lines)

Policy servicing and endorsements

Underwriting support and insurer liaison

Claims administration and client support

Strong understanding of personal and commercial short-term insurance products

Ability to work independently and manage multiple portfolios and priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving ability with a client-focused approach

Desired Work Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years Financial Advisory & Consulting Service
