About the position

Our client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SHEQ Officer to join their team.
 
Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ relevant working experience in a SHEQ environment
  • SACPCMP registration – non-negotiable
  • Clear criminal record
  • Relevant SHEQ qualification/certification advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance
  • Good reporting, communication, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
  • Investigate incidents and compile reports
  • Maintain SHEQ documentation and records
  • Ensure staff adherence to safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of SHEQ systems
