SHEQ Manager | Chemical & Industrial Environment

Are you a seasoned SHEQ professional ready to take ownership of safety, quality and environmental excellence in a high-impact operational environment?

An established industrial and chemical operation is looking for a driven SHEQ Manager to lead compliance, strengthen governance frameworks and embed a strong safety culture across production and workshop environments. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise directly influences operational integrity and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll champion SHEQ strategy across the business, ensuring systems are not just compliant, but effective, practical and embedded into daily operations. From audits and risk management to ISO systems and incident investigations, you will be the central force driving best practice.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years’ SHEQ experience in a similar industrial or production environment
  
  
• Exposure to chemical production and workshop operations
  
  
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, legal compliance and auditing methodologies
  
  
• Practical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
  
  
• Proven ability to implement and maintain integrated SHEQ frameworks
  
  
• Confident risk assessment and incident investigation capability
  
  
• SAMTRAC, HIRA and First Aid Level 1 advantageous
  
  
• Chemical handling and safety training advantageous
  
  
• Tertiary SHEQ-related qualification advantageous
  
  
• Comfortable working with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
